North of Boston: Take I-93 south to Charlestown exit. Follow signs towards Sullivan Square/Charlestown, which leads past the Sullivan Square T station into a rotary. Follow signs to MA Rte. 99 South. Take the first exit ramp ("Cambridge") at Charlestown Community College. At the traffic lights at the top of the ramp, turn left onto Austin Street. Parking Option 1 On your right, just past the intersection with Rte. 99, is an MDC ice rink. There is ample parking here. St. John's is a block further (by foot) in the direction you were driving into the parking lot, at the corner of Old Rutherford Ave. and Devon St. Parking Option 2 Continue on Austin St. and take a right on Main St., at the Store 24 on your right. Pass Union St. on your right, then take a right at Harvard St. and an immediate right onto Devens St. At the end of the block on your right is St. John's Church. Park anywhere on the street; resident parking applies only on weekdays.
From I-93 Northbound/Mass Pike From Mass Pike eastbound, take the I-93 North exit. On I-93 North, cross over the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge and take the first exit, "Sullivan Square". Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and follow the signs for MA Rte. 99 South. Take the first exit ramp ("Cambridge") at Charlestown Community College. At the traffic lights at the top of the ramp, turn left onto Austin Street. Now see parking options in the North of Boston section above.
From Cambridge, take Memorial Drive past Longfellow Bridge (where it is renamed Edwin H. Land Blvd.) Pass the Cambridgeside Galleria on your left. Cross the O'Brien highway (Route 28) near the Museum of Science. Continue past the T station and Bunker Hill Community College on your left. Pass through the next intersection. Now see parking options in the North of Boston section above.
From Boston, take Charlestown Bridge to City Square. Continue straight, keeping City Square park on your right, and pass a gas station on your right. Turn immediately after the gas station; St. John's is immediately in front of you. Street parking is open except 8am-8pm on weekdays.
Subway: Take the Orange Line to Community College. From the subway exit, use the footbridge to cross over Rte.99 to the parking lot of the 99 Restaurant. Turn right off the footbridge, walking to and crossing Austin St. to the MDC ice rink. With the 99 Restaurant at your back, walk alongside the ice rink parking, which joins up to Old Rutherford Ave. At the end of the next block, the street ends at Devon St., with St. John's church on your left. Main St. Pass Union St. on your right, then take a right at Harvard St. and an immediate right onto Devens St. At the end of the block on your right is St. John's Church.
